Begin your healthcare career as a
Certified Nurse Assistant

Next class starts May 4, 2021
Please note: Class is currently held in part on Zoom due to Covid-safety protocols. Restrictions may be relaxed enough that we will be able to offer the class completely in-person by the start date of the next cohort, depending on guidance from Maine DOE, CDC, and our local partner organizations.
Would you like to become a Certified Nursing Assistant? This State-approved 180-hour course consists of classroom learning, lab practice and clinical work. Time is spent on the aspects of caring for patients and residents, diseases and disease processes, and anatomy and physiology.
Clinical hours allow the student to practice what was learned in the classroom with actual hands-on experience. The Certified Nursing Assistant State Competency Test is administered upon completion of the course and leads to an industry-recognized certification.
To register for this class, download and fill out the application form and return it to the adult ed center in Topsham, or Morse High School. Apply early for funding resources. For more information, email Dawn Wheeler, project administrator.
The cost of the program is $975. If you need help paying for the class, funding options are available. Please call 207-729-7323 for more information.
