Would you like to become a Certified Nursing Assistant? This State-approved 130-hour course consists of classroom learning, lab practice and clinical work. Time is spent on the aspects of caring for patients and residents, diseases and disease processes, and anatomy and physiology.
Clinical hours allow the student to practice what was learned in the classroom with actual hands-on experience. The Certified Nursing Assistant State Competency Test is administered upon completion of the course and leads to an industry-recognized certification.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Would you like to become a Certified Nursing Assistant? This State-approved 130-hour course consists of classroom time, lab practice and clinical work. Clinical hours allow the student to practice what was learned in the classroom with actual hands-on experience.
The new CNA class starts January 17th and will meet on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday through March 21st. Class meets from 4 to 9pm at the Region 10 Voc Center at 68 Church Road in Brunswick.

Certified Residential Medication Aide (CRMA)
Certified Residential Medication Aide is licensed to pass non- injectable medications in Assisted Living Facilities and State Group Homes. Holding a PSS or CNA certificates is of great value however it is not required and all areas of positions are covered. All tests including final exams are given in the classroom and require a grade of 80% to pass the course. (40-45hr)
The new CRMA class starts on February 6th and will meet on Monday, Wednesday and Friday until March 13th. Class meets from 3:30 to 6:30pm.

Certified Nursing Assistant Medication (CNA-M)
The purpose of this course is to teach experienced certified nursing assistants to administer selected non-injectable medications to patients who are 4 years of age and older. This complex nursing task is to be performed under the direct on-site supervision of a licensed nurse only in long-term nursing facilities and state mental health institutions.
The new CNA-M class starts on January 3rd and will meet on Tuesday and Thursday until March 23rd. Class meets from 3:30 to 8:30pm.
