Yoga has been around for 5,000 years - and for a good reason: It works. By practicing yoga, you can rejuvenate, care for, and nurture yourself at the deepest levels, resulting in greater reservoirs of compassion and tolerance for other people and a positive impact on your relationships. Most importantly, you will develop a better relationship with yourself. Learn about yoga's history and philosophy, yoga postures to practice, relaxation and meditation practices, and even a bit of Sanskrit. Please bring a yoga mat. Optional, but recommended props include a cushion and/or yoga blanket for seated postures. Covid 19 safety protocols will follow state and school district recommendations for in-person events.
