You'll leave this short, but sweet class with an expanded knowledge and plenty of practice painting in watercolor, plus you'll have more pages to work on after the class ends. All materials provided. *There is a $30 materials fee for this class that covers paint, 16 pages that include custom illustrations, and color charts that can be bound into a book, as well as use of Princeton Select Watercolor brushes. Knife and Tool Sharpening

with Zack Rouda

Apr
22

Next session: April 22nd, 2025

If there's one tool we use above all others, it's the knife. If you only had two tools to take into the woods, you may select a knife and an axe. Knives and axes are generally made of metal, which can be sharpened using a hard stone, or a factory-made sharpening-block. Learn how to sharpen knives, axes, pruners, scissors, and other blade tools. Bring your own dull tools that need to be touched up, or come to practice sharpening on some of our tools and stones. We'll cover the basic theory behind sharpening edge tools, and practice using a variety of sharpening stones. Whetstones will also be available for purchase.
